VEER Concept

VEERa short yet powerful meaning, especially when applied towards the actions you take in your life. We fully believe that this word and its definition go hand in hand with the message we are trying to send, "Shift your mindset and Lift your lifestyle," which is why we created it as our key concept. We treat it as a guide and mentality in our pursuit to achieve goals.

The very first step you must take towards a more successful life is visualizing exactly what YOU want in life. What is your dream job? Do you want a healthier lifestyle? Would you like to be physically and mentally stronger? How about achieving financial freedom?

Regardless of what your goals or dreams are, once you have envisioned them the next step is realizing and accepting exactly what your current situation is. This may not be an easy task. It's easier to daydream about a better life than to recognize your shortcomings or failures.

People tend to become complacent once they are comfortable and adopt the "good enough" mentality. Are you really content with, "good enough?" Are you passionate about your job? Are you happy with your current health status? Are you happy with your financial situation?

If you answered 'no' to any of these questions, then it is time to VEER your life. Once you have visualized that ideal lifestyle and recognized your current situation then the next step is to create an in-depth plan of action that will guide you towards your new life.

You can, and it is highly recommended, set smaller goals along your journey. Use them as stepping stones to assist you in reaching that long term goal. You must be realistic with yourself and consider what it is going to take to actually succeed.

Will you have to work more hours to pay off bills? Will you sacrifice some sleep and wake up early to get to the gym? Will you give up the daily beer and junk food to get the body you want? Everything worth having in life takes certain sacrifices to achieve them.

"The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing." - Walt Disney

At this point you should have a very thorough plan made up that you can follow and use to guide yourself to that lifestyle you desire. One way of doing this is by adopting that "All in" mentality. By going ALL IN, you are making sacrifices, taking risks, and putting in hard work. You will 100% commit and do what is necessary to be successful.

We mentioned some sacrifices in the Visualize description and that was just a small list of examples. Risks on the other hand are an area we can dive into because you have a reason to be cautious. However, every risk can be mitigated with a good plan.

Are you working more hours at work to get ahead on money? If so, chances are this can take a toll on your family life and friendships. This is a risk you are taking. Make sure your family is on board with your plan and your friends understand it. If your friends don't show their support, maybe its time for some new friends.

How about a new job or promotion? You may be comfortable in your current position so moving to something new could be nerve racking. It may seem like a risk to leave an already reliable source of income. Remember, comfort kills and can often lead to a dead end. Be confident in yourself, work hard, and know your worth. Do everything it takes to achieve your goals and create new opportunities.

Always have a plan to mitigate the risk. In the event that something does go south, you will be prepared for it. By incorporating hard work, sacrifices, and risks into your plan you can more readily accomplish your goals. This is the meaning of "All In." Give it everything you got in order to reach your goals no matter how big or small.

"Stop being patient and start asking yourself, how do I accomplish my 10 year plan in 6 month? You'll probably fail, but you'll be a lot further along than the person who simply accepted it was going to take 10 years!" - Elon Musk

You went ALL IN and made sacrifices in your life. You stepped out of your comfort zone and took some risks and now all your hard work is starting to pay off. You just achieved your first small goal and can't believe how amazing it feels. You EARNED this win! You made a change in your lifestyle and dedicated yourself to being better.

Now let it soak in. How does it make you feel? Pretty damn good, right? Regardless of how small or big, it is important to celebrate these wins. Take some time to reflect and enjoy the satisfaction of making progress. After all, YOU made the changes and executed your plan to earn this.

At this point you may have a new addiction as well. An addiction to success, to positivity, to having a solution, to conquering what you want in life. You've had a SHIFT in your mindset and now it is beginning to LIFT your life out from complacency.

Maybe you have realized that certain people in your life are toxic and have been holding you back. It is important to take care of yourself as well as give back and help others. It is equally important to distance yourself from those toxic people. The circle you are in deeply impacts who you are. Surround yourself with like-minded people. It will contribute towards your success and motivate you to keep going.

Are you going to stop after earning that first win? No way! You got a small taste of success and now you want more of it. You are living Shift and Lift with a new mindset and lifestyle. What's next? It's actually quite simple... Set a new goal and repeat the process.

"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but really great people make you feel that you too can become great" -Mark Twain

You have successfully visualized the new life you want, executed the plan you created, and earned that first win. Chances are you are still a long way away from being exactly where you want to be. That's perfectly fine. It is better to take smaller planned out steps then to take giant leaps.

The next and final step is pretty straight forward. All you need to do is set a new goal and repeat this process. Continue on that path of success. Do not stop or get distracted. Yes, there can and will always be setbacks in your plan, but that is life. You are now more prepared to overcome those obstacles since you have the mindset to plan out your every move and not let them defeat you.

If you do have a setback, just treat it as a new goal and overcome it. Then you can pick up where you left off previously. As you obtain a new goal it will only get easier to repeat and conquer whatever comes next.

We want to welcome you to Shift and Lift, where you will be encouraged to VEER your current life path and work towards a better you. The world offers so many opportunities and as we know it, we are only here once. It's now time for you to repeat the cycle of VEER and set yourself up for the best life possible. YOU control the outcome of your life.
